A soulful blend of blues, gospel and country, this is heart-rousing material featuring an always-fascinating selection of covers interspersed between each jaw-dropping original.
Eric Thom, 2009, exclaim.ca
. . . the playing of all concerned is precise and polished to the point where there’s no superfluous soloing, just strikingly accomplished music that initially comes across as unimposing, almost like old friends playing on the back porch, but revealing its true depth the more you hear it.
Mike Skidmore, February 18, 2009, Crawdaddy
. . . filled with fine guitar playing and tasty musical arrangements, all with an easy, lyrical style, and songs seemingly chosen to pay tribute to family, friends and other good things in life.
